Dakar/Banjul

You will depart in the morning, heading for Banjul, the capital Gambia. This ride enables you to discover the highlands of Senegal and Gambia with its villages scattered throughout the savannah grasslands, before you cross the River Gambia by ferry to get to into town. On the way you will stop at Juffureh, the village of the Kunta Kinteh family; ancestral home of black American, Alex Halley, the author of book and movie ‘ROOTS’. You will spend the night in Corinthia Atlantic Hotel
