Day 2

Dakar/Gorée

Dakar, capital of Senegal, is also called gateway of black Africa. Take a bus city tour including the craft market of Soumbedioune, Presidential Palace and many other places. You will take the 15 min boat ride to the island of Gorée, rated world heritage with its forts, canons, and eighteenth century houses. Gorée is also a high symbol of the slave trade. After lunch you will visit of the House of Slaves, one of the museums the island is most famous for. Then, in the evening, you will return to the Hotel Miramar.
